Friend nights fall into a rut fast. Same bars, same booth, same three topics on repeat. A scent session breaks that without being awkward or precious about it. You're all doing one thing together, smelling and reacting, which gives the conversation somewhere real to go. Nobody has to know anything about perfume. One person will love the smoky, leathery stuff, someone else goes straight for citrus, and that split alone gets everyone talking. Because we smell everything through scent tubes instead of spraying, ten people can share the same lineup without the air turning into a fog you can taste. It stays comfortable even in a small room. It's relaxed, a little funny when someone hates a scent everyone else loves, and genuinely different from your usual Friday. Think of it as the warm up to the night, or the whole thing.

Here's how it runs. The scent flight covers about ten fragrances and takes as long as your group wants to linger. Walk in on a weekend between 12 and 5, or if a weekday suits the crew better, book a time and we'll have the shop set up for you. Four to eight people is the sweet spot; bigger groups just need a heads up so we can pace it right. We pour from niche and designer houses, names like Tom Ford, Creed, MFK, Le Labo and Jo Malone, alongside our home fragrance lines, and we call out what's what as we go so it never feels like a lecture. No purchase necessary, full stop. If someone does fall hard for a scent, our decants run small, roughly 1ml to 10ml, so they can take it home without spending full bottle money on a hunch.

Bright and tropical: lime, bergamot and coconut, basically a day off in a bottle. Always an easy crowd win.

Warm and cozy: vanilla, amber and soft woods for the people who usually say scent isn't their thing.

Weird in a good way: something animalic or unexpected that gets the whole group leaning in and arguing about whether it's amazing or terrible.

A few small things make it smoother. Pick a rough group size and tell us if it's growing, since we'd rather set the room up right than cram everyone in. BYOB is welcome, so a bottle of wine or a six pack fits the vibe fine. Give yourselves an hour at minimum, more if folks want to slow down and really dig into the lineup.
